Helping men discover a real relationship with God!

Our Fresh S.T.A.R.T. Recovery/Re-entry program is a comprehensive, faith based program designed to help men discover and learn to trust God, through the truths found in His Word and the inspiration and guidance of His Holy Spirit.

Changing lives by helping men become the wonderful creation God wants them to be!

God has a special plan for everyone. Sometimes we have not given God a chance to show us His plan and the path He wants us to take. Helping someone find that plan is what we do!

A safe place for men each evening.

365 days per year, we provide dinner, showers, overnight lodging, and coffee plus pastries the next morning for up to 50 men. God's Word, and His love, is also shared, in a different presentation format every night by both faith based videos and community volunteers during nightly services.

Welcome!

Victory Mission, Inc. has been reaching out to the homeless of Salinas, and much of Monterey county, since 1959. For over 63 years, we have lived with the people we serve in the darkest corner of Salinas - the Chinatown area. Bringing the light of God's love to this area has been an incredible challenge - and a wonderful blessing!

Over the past years, we have been blessed to see so many men (through our Fresh S.T.A.R.T. Recovery/Re-entry Program) discover the true source of strength that helps each of us become successful and productive in our lives and communities - God!

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Through our Men's Shelter and Fresh S.T.A.R.T. Recovery/Re-Entry Program (featuring Celebrate Recovery) men are given both immediate help and the opportunity to find the path and strength to change their failures into real hope. Through the truths of God's Word and the power of the presence of God's Holy Spirit, each man coming to Victory Mission's Recovery/Re-Entry program has the opportunity to get an exciting, successful new start!

At Victory Mission, there are many opportunities for community members to help us reach out in Christ's name::

  • Teach a faith-based recovery session
  • Speak/share or bring music to one of our nightly services
  • Help distribute our 3:17 Coins
  • Donate clean, used clothing, hygiene products, and blankets
  • Come help with dinner
  • Provide ready-to-eat foods for distribution to the homeless
  • Help us keep our doors open and lights on with your financial donation
  • Pray for our ministry!
